Interventional procedures include laser coronary artherectomy, percutaneous ASD, coronary stenting and coronary and peripheral vascular angioplasty.

Off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery is the technical term for beating - heart surgery. The traditional approach to bypass surgery requires stopping a patient's heart and employing a heart-lung machine to oxygenate the patient's blood. During the off-pump procedure, the surgeon may perform off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery on multiple vessels on all sides of the heart without stopping it. Because the patient is not put on the heart-lung machine, the risks of stroke and blood transfusions may be reduced.
